Banfest's Opening Night of Comedy

Friday 3rd Sept

Be sure to book early this year as we anticipate a sell out show.

A fabulous evening of comedy kicks off Banfest's spectacular three day festival.

At 5.30pm on Friday the 3rd September the first people will enter our large festival marquee ready for an evening of hilarious comedy.

The Beer Festival Bar and Gin / Wine Bar will be offering a fabulous selection of drinks to get the evening started.  There will also be a selection of food stalls and street food to purchase to make it a complete evening.

The comedy will commence at 7.30pm when the legendary Phil Dinsdale brings his Gagging For Laughs set to the Banfest Stage.

Raymond & Mr. Timpkins

Lightning fast choreography meets uber swift editing in a fantasmagorical collision of quality entertainment. An overload of velvet, sandals and multi-hued wool provides a startling accompaniment, the whole effect being that of a slim man and a fat man putting their bums in your face.

Admission is by ticket only from 5.30pm (when the bars and food stalls open) with the show commencing around 7.30pm.

There will be drinks breaks throughout the evening to revisit the bars and replenish your refreshments.

This is an adult only event due to the content of the comedic material, so no under 18's will be allowed within the marquee.

After 2019's successful and hilarious Comedy Night, 2021 is going to be bigger and better.
